Carter Park Pavilion and the surrounding grounds, maintained by the Town of Breckenridge, may be reserved for a nominal fee and are perfect for an authentic western barbeque, mountain picnic or casual wedding. Your guests can play on the lush grass, sand volleyball or tennis courts. The pavilion accommodates indoor seating for 70 guests. Carter Park also offers bathroom facilities and outdoor covered seating.

Fuqua Livery Stable

Formerly a Livery Stable built in 1880 the rehabilitation consisted of taking the structure apart carefully in12 pieces, pouring a new foundation with in-floor heat, erecting structural steel and then putting the structure back together within 1” of historic configuration. An innovative glass storefront system was also installed on the interior to exhibit all of the historic walls and allow for year round use. Now a home for printmaking and weekly workshops this is a very unique and special place to host a cocktail hour or meeting..

The Lomax Mine was an active hydraulic placer mining operation in the 1860s located near Breckenridge’s downtown. Tin Shop

The historic Tin Shop is the first guest artist facility. Guest artists began working in the Tin Shop in August of 2006. The Tin Shop is the result of a partnership with the Saddle Rock Society and the Town. Artists are invited to stay at the Tin Shop and work on their medium of choice from one week up to one month. The main floor provides a studio space, while the upstairs has a fully furnished studio apartment where artists live during their stay. Artists are selected based on the quality of their artwork and proposed public participation program.

The Riverwalk Center

The Riverwalk Center was built in 1992/93 by the Town of Breckenridge as a performing arts facility primarily to host the Breckenridge Music Festival Orchestra and the National Repertory Orchestra. Over the years, its uses have expanded to include everything from popular music concerts, theatre and children’s performances to non-profit fundraisers, weddings and conference dinners.
