Each year, New Orleans visitors and Mardi Gras lovers take over Breckenridge with masks, boas, beads, music and revelry to commemorate the carnival season. Breckenridge Mardi Gras will kick off in style from 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 9th, with it's annual Bacchus Ball at Beaver Run Resort. If you would like to participate in the Mardi Gras parade on Tuesday, February 12th, related events and activities please download, fill out and return the participation form.

Bacchus Ball – Saturday, February 9th, 2013 (6:00 p.m. - 10:00 p.m.)
The evening will feature dancing, drinks, great Nawlins style cuisine and the crowning of the Rex and Queen. Music by Hazel Miller!
Where: TBA
When: 6:00 p.m. - 10:00 p.m.
Attire: Summit County Formal a.k.a. anything goes! Guests can wear a Mardi Gras costume, formal ball gown or a favorite mask and pair of blue jeans.
Cost:TBA Cost includes a New Orleans style buffet dinner and a cash bar available.
Beads, boas and masks for sale at the event.

Mardi Gras Procession on Main Street and Fat Tuesday Celebration – February 12th, 2013
Where: Main Street
When: 4:30 p.m.
Cost: Free

The procession will stage on North Main Street between Lincoln and Wellington Street and head south to Park Avenue. Float space is limited. Please forward individuals interested in participating in the procession to Heidi DeWitt at 970.453.5055 or events@gobreck.com.
