Each year, New Orleans visitors and Mardi Gras lovers take over Breckenridge with masks, boas, beads, music and revelry to commemorate the carnival season. Join us on Main Street for a New Orleans-Style Mardi Gras party!

Join our Mardi Gras Celebration on Fat Tuesday, February 13th, 2018!

2:30pm - 4:00pm:  Mardi Gras Tailgate

Kick the day off with the Mardi Gras Tailgating Party!  This family-friendly celebration will have free music, beads and  Mardi Gras Specials from local businesses!   in Main Street Station Plaza (located at 505 S Main St). They have your family-friendly Mardi Gras Parade warm up with music, beads and merchant specials!

4:30pm:  Annual Mardi Gras Parade

Celebrate Fat Tuesday with the traditional Breckenridge Mardi Gras Parade Down Main Street! Gather along the fenced parade route to see the floats locals have put together and get in position to catch any incoming beads, then wear them out to your favorite bar as your night out on the town gets started. To register for the parade CLICK HERE

5:00pm - 7:00pm FREE Concert & Paulaner Salvator Festival

Following the parade, head over to the Riverwalk Center to enjoy a FREE concert with the Lowdown Brass Band and indulge in at the Paulaner Salvator Festival.  This Strong Beer Festival will feature big (strong) beers for $4 from Paulaner.   Even better, if you are one of the first 100 people in the door, you will receive a free beer. Try some King Cake, Gumbo or Pretzels at Breckenridge's un-traditional Mardi Gras celebration.

Due to open container laws in the Town of Breckenridge, it is illegal to consume alcoholic beverages in unlicensed, public locations. Please keep alcoholic beverages in private or permitted locations for this event. For more information, CLICK HERE

Need a ride home from the concert? Shuttle the Rockies will be offering free rides home from the Riverwalk Center on a first come, first serve basis starting at 7:30pm on the hour through 12:30am.

Parade Staging starts at 3:30pm on Main St between Wellington and Ski Hill Road and the parade starts at 4:30pm. Please enter from the traffic light at French St. and N. Main St.
