Each year, New Orleans visitors and Mardi Gras lovers take over Breckenridge with masks, boas, beads, music and revelry to commemorate the carnival season.
Breckenridge Mardi Gras will kick off in style starting at 4:30p.m. on Tuesday, Feb 9 for our annual Mardi Gras parade, followed by the Main Street Station Mardi Gras Party at 505 S. Main St. There will be free live music, hurricanes, gumbo, dancing and more!

The Next day, Wednesday, February 10th don't miss the Breck Ascent Series (6:15 a.m.) - 7th annual Breckenridge Acsent Series. Click Here to sign up or for more information on this Mountain Ski Race where participants use specialized ski equipment to hike up and ski down the mountain. This race starts at the base of Peak 9.

Celebrate Fat Tuesday with the traditional Breckenridge Mardi Gras Parade Down Main St. Gather along the fenced parade route to see the floats people have put together and get in position to catch any incoming beads, then wear them out to your favorite bar as your night out on the town gets started.

After the parade, follow the last float into Main St. Station for live music by Homeslice, New Orleans gumbo, and a Hurricane to get the party started. Come celebrate with this year's Mardi Gras Rex and Queen Trygve Berge and Jennifer Morgan, as they are crowned on stage and the parade winner are announced.

Parade Staging starts at 3:30pm on Main St between French St. and Watson Ave. and the parade starts at 4:30pm. Please enter from the traffic light at French St. and N. Main St.
