We’re counting down to Opening Day! Breckenridge Ski Resorts opens November 9 for the 18/19 season and it’s sure to be a great one. No one kicks off the season like Breckenridge! Dec. 8  –  Lighting of Breckenridge & Race of the Santas

Don’t miss these holiday events in Breckenridge! Race of the Santas and The Lighting of Breckenridge is the perfect way to get into the holiday spirit.

Kick-off the holiday season with Breckenridge’s annual Lighting of Breckenridge and Race of the Santas festivities. Our 2018 celebration will take place on December 8, 2018. The first weekend in December begins Breckenridge’s annual transformation into a sparkling holiday scene. Participate in the Race of the Santas, where hundreds of jolly look-alikes race and watch as Santa uses his magic to light up the town for the season.

Dec. 13-16: Dew Tour

Breckenridge Dew Tour Ski Slope Semi Finals
Breckenridge is all about big air, big concerts and big smiles when Dew Tour is in town.

The annual winter Dew Tour ski and snowboard competition and festival will return to Breckenridge, Colo. December 13-16, 2018. The six-day event includes the world’s best male and female skiers and snowboarders competing in individual Halfpipe and Slopestyle competitions, Dew Tour’s signature Team Challenge and Streetstyle competitions and a calendar of fan-based activities.
