Leave No Trace

Thank you for following Leave No Trace principles during your visit.

We love our trails and hope you can show them some love by following the Colorado Tourism Office’s Leave No Trace principles before heading out and be prepared for your adventure.

Here are a few tips to remember before heading out:

  • Breckenridge has hundreds of miles of trails throughout town and nearby National Forest. By staying on the trails you’re helping natural areas stay natural.
  • Breckenridge is home to many furry residents. To keep them – and you – safe, you shouldn’t approach and observe them from a distance.
  • Any of our species of wildflowers will live forever in a photo. Snap away, but only with a camera.
