Winter Sports and Recreation

In addition to skiing and snowboarding at the Ski Resort, Breckenridge offers a vast array of unique winter sports and recreational activities. The town boasts miles of snowshoeing and cross-country skiing trails at two quality Nordic Centers as well as on the town-s trail system.

Animal lovers in search of adventure can experience what it is like to be a musher with a dog sledding tour. Adventure seekers can rent snowmobiles and tour Breckenridge's scenic backcountry, go sledding at Carter Park, schedule a hut trip or visit the local ice rink. With an average of 25 feet of snow each year, Breckenridge has endless winter activities to offer.
