Nordic Skiing and Snowshoeing

Breckenridge boasts two quality Nordic centers. Both centers offer rentals, lessons and waxing services.

The Gold Run Nordic Center at the Breckenridge Golf Club has more than 20 groomed kilometers of skating and classic trails, plus backcountry touring, snowshoe trails and dog-friendly trails. Horse drawn sleigh rides are also available. 970.547.7889.

At the Breckenridge Nordic Center near Peak 8, 30 kilometers of groomed skating and classic skiing await, including 20 kilometers of snowshoe trails. 970.453.6855.

The town's trail system also offers countless miles of terrain to be explored on Nordic skis or snowshoes. These same trails can be hiked or biked in the summer. While in town, visit the Breckenridge Welcome Center at 203 S. Main Street and pick up a town trail map.
