Snow Flies in Breck as Last Day of Summer Comes to an End

BRECKENRIDGE, Colo. – September 21, 2009 – Snow dusted the Breckenridge Ski Resort in a layer of white today. Perfect timing for the last day of summer! As the leaves change colors and temperatures drop, excitement is brewing for opening day of the Breckenridge Ski Resort on November 12, 2009.

Forecasts show an El Nino influence this winter, which usually means above normal precipitation in the Rockies. Skiers and snowboarders, start dusting off your winter gear and say a prayer to Ullr, the Norse god of snow, to keep the white stuff coming.
