More Holiday Events than Ever:

Get in the holiday spirit with the Lighting of Breckenridge, December 6, 2008. Breckenridge kicks off its holiday season with the annual lighting of the town tree, which brings together guests and locals every year to rejoice in true holiday spirit. A Rocky Mountain inspired holiday concert with John Adams and Friends will conclude the night.

See how snow sculpting got started in Breck with the debut of the Breckenridge Snowflake Challenge, December 6-13, 2008. Snow sculpting revisits its zany roots on the streets of Breckenridge. This grass-roots sculpting contest is open to anyone who has wanted to try their hands at sculpting snow. Sculptures will be on display along Main Street through the holidays.

Watch freeskiing and snowboarding’s finest pros compete in the inaugural Winter Dew Tour, December 18-21, 2008. The Winter Dew Tour comes to Breckenridge for its kick off with halfpipe and slopestyle competitions and live concerts with rock from All American Rejects and hip-hop from 3oh!3.
