The 5 Peaks - April 10
The 5 Peaks is North America's longest ski mountaineering race with 10,000 feet of vertical and five separate ascents in the Ten Mile Range behind and in Breckenridge Ski Resort. Eighty teams of two will skin, climb, ski and traverse Peaks 10, 9, 8 (from two sides) and 7. While The Five Peaks course will be demanding in terms of vertical and time, course loops are designed so that teams that don't wish to complete the final climbs will still enjoy a full day of high-alpine skiing. For more information and registration please visit http://www.thefivepeaks.com.

Imperial Challenge - April 17
The fourteenth annual Imperial Challenge warms up with a 6.2 mile mountain bike ride from the Town of Breckenridge across Peak 7 to Peak 8. Followed by a 2,500 foot, wind testing ascent of Peak 8 to the top of the Imperial Bowl on the equipment of your choice. As your quadriceps quiver from oxygen deprivation and lactic acid build up, begin your descent to the base of Peak 8 on skis or a snowboard. An hour and forty-five minutes could win; two hours would be a great time!

Location: Riverwalk Center
Finish off the season in style with Breckenridge's FREE end of season blowout concert in town at the Riverwalk Center…what better way to end a great season than with sunshine-filled day on the slopes and action-packed concerts in town.
