Each year, New Orleans visitors and Mardi Gras lovers take over Breckenridge with masks, boas, beads, music and revelry to commemorate the carnival season. Breckenridge Mardi Gras will kick off in style from 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 13, with it's annual Bacchus Ball at Beaver Run Resort. If you would like to participate in the Mardi Gras procession, related events and activities please download, fill out and return the participation form.

Fat Tuesday Celebration – February 16, 2010 (4:30 p.m.)
Our Mardi Gras Fat Tuesday Celebration brings a festive parade procession down Main Street with New Orleans food and drink specials throughout town, colorful masks and tons of beads.

Bacchus Ball – Saturday, February 13, 2010 (6:00 p.m. - 10:00 p.m.)
Join us for a New Orleans Style masquerade ball at 9,600 Feet. The evening will bring live music with Tiny Barge & the Big Chill, dancing, “N’awlins”- style food and drink prepared by an authentic New Orleans chef, cash bar, the crowning of the Mardi Gras Rex and Queen and so much more. The event will be located at the Beaver Run Resort in the Colorado Ball Room. $40 per person, $75 per couple. This is a 21 and older event. Produced by the Breckenridge Resort Chamber.
