16th Annual Oktoberfest: 9/17/2010 – 9/19/2010

Breckenridge’s 16th annual Oktoberfest, September 17-19, 2010, includes a fun-filled weekend of fall foliage, great parties, Paulaner Bier, genuine German cuisine, collectable steins and special accommodation packages. Don’t miss the largest Oktoberfest in the Rocky Mountains.


Main Street Party gets under way on Saturday at 11:00 a.m. with the fun continuing right through until 6:00 p.m. New this year, the Merchandise Tent will be opening up at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. The party gets going again on Sunday morning with the Street Party from 11:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. Sunday’s party is a bit more laid back, family oriented and still a whole lot of fun!

Brewmaster’s Dinner is held on Friday evening the 17th.
Enjoy a six course meal elegantly paired with European biers and alternate wines with the 1st course starting at 6:00p.m. There is limited seating and the dinner has been a sold out event the last four years. It is a great evening of food, new friends and the perfect kick off to an amazing Oktoberfest celebration dinner. Cost is $70.00 per person or $130.00 per couple.

The town’s 16th annual Oktoberfest, where Munich meets Breckenridge on Saturday and Sunday when Main Street closes and comes to life as a street party with traditional costumes, German food, Oompah and polka music, Bavarian dancers, children’s activities, a keg-tapping ceremony, 5k run and, of course, Paulaner bier.

The Main Street Party features more than two dozen food vendors, lots of dancing and a weekend of fun. Due to the extensive food and beverage offerings, we ask that you please leave your best four legged friends at home as well as any outside alcoholic beverages. Don’t forget your ID though.

Oktoberfest Lodging Package: $48 Groups of four can take advantage of a special Oktoberfest package starting at $48 per person per night. Package includes two nights of lodging, beer vouchers and a reserved commemorative beer stein. Package offered September 16-20, 2010.

Breckenridge Oktoberfest is a Pet Free event due to all the food vendors and the crowds.

Bike parking available in the Barney Ford Lot. Bike racks are provided, just bring your own bike lock.

The 9th Annual Oktoberfest 5K is back again this fall offering an active start to a festive weekend. Lace up your running shoes and experience the changing aspens and beautiful scenery in this 5K Run/Walk on Town of Breckenridge Trails.

Volunteer Opportunities:
Volunteer shifts are available for beer & wine sales (must be 21); ticket, stein and merchandise sales; event setup/production, and event breakdown. Short shifts are available. Volunteers receive a free
