2011 Winners

21st Annual Budweiser Select International Snow Sculpture Championships Winners.

Team Mexico takes home the gold for their sculpture.

 

Team Mexico won first with “Alebrije,” a highly-detailed piece depicting three mythological beings of Mexican culture. Team Canada Yukon won second with “Spirits of the Aurora,” a mystical piece that rendered the Northern Lights.

Team USA Breckenridge secured third prize in the 21st annual International Snow Sculpture Championships in with “Underwater,” a piece that used the shape of the 12-foot-tall starting block to act as a frame for a below-the-sea scene.
