What is a Poker Ride?

Good question. Similar to a "Poker Run," this event involves riding your bike to 5 different stops, drawing a playing card at each stop, and trying to assemble the best poker hand you can. After you have collected your cards and your hand is complete, bring it to the Poker Rider Party at Napper Tandy's Irish Pub (110 Lincoln Avenue) by 1:00pm to see where your hand ranks. Top hands win awesome prizes! Did you end up with a bunch of cards the same color thinking it was a flush? No worries, there are great raffle prizes too and everyone who participates in the ride is entered to win!

The poker ride is designed for riders of all abilities. Experienced riders will have 4 hours to connect Breckenridge's extensive trail system together and hit all 5 stops, while families can choose between trails and pavement to connect their ride together.

Can't make to all five stops? No worry, you only need your best 2 cards to take part in the Best Black Jack Hand ancillary challenge.

Any event presented by Carvers and the Summit Fat Tire Society is sure to be a good time, so grab your bike, put on your best poker-face, and get ready to pedal around to collect your hand. $30 for adults and $20 for 17 and under to enter.
