Carter Park and Pavillion
This park is in the heart of Breck located just 4 blocks east off Main Street on the south end of High Street. It's truly a hub of town activity no matter the season. In the winter, the park becomes the town's free sledding hill. In the summer, the free tennis and volleyball courts come alive with action and a handful of races begin or end at the town space, including the annual Firecracker 50 mountain bike race on the Fourth of July. The pavillion features many amenities: indoor heated gathering area, gas fireplace, picnic tables, heated indoor restrooms, a large natural gas grill and panoramic views of Breckenridge Ski Resort and the Tenmile Range. The park and the pavillion are available for rent for meetings, social events, weddings, birthday parties and private sporting events. For more information about rentals, call (970) 547-3119 or email FacilityRentals@townofbreckenridge.com.

Breckenridge Skatepark
The skate park was completely renovated in October 2014, expanding to a .4 acre with an 11-foot bowl and other features for skaters of all levels. Additional new features include a snake run, beginner bowl, advanced bowl and skateable historic mine cart. Youth and adults are welcome to use the park for free during daylight hours. Several competitions are held throughout the summer months at the park. The park is open seasonally as conditions permit. Check back for details on the park's grand opening coming soon in spring 2015!
